This page has been created to clearly explain our values towards your privacy.
Our main goal as a business is to provide up to date information regarding practical help for mobile professionals in the natural resource industry. We believe in nurturing authentic relationships built on trust. The best way for us to start this process is by communicating to you through our website, social media, and through email.
Any tracking or data collection is done in order to help us facilitate this goal of accurate information flow and relationship building.
Earthrespro may occasionally change this policy by updating this page. You can check this page at any time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective as of December 2015 and we see no reason for any changes at this time.
What do we do with information that we collect?
We require the information that we collect in order to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and also for the following reasons:
- We may use collected information to improve our products and service.
- Internal record keeping.
- We might send promotional emails about products, offers or other information which we think you may find relevant to your needs using the email address you have chosen to give us.
Your Email Address
We collect email addresses of people who voluntarily email us, or fill in an email request box. We collect your first name, and email address only at this stage. The email request boxes are set up as a “double opt-in”. This means that you will get a confirmation email to double check that you are interested in receiving updates from us. The double opt-in is partly for your security so that we know that it was you who submitted the email address. The other reason is so that we can fully comply with anti-spam regulations.
Every email that we send you will have an ‘unsubscribe’ link. This means that you can easily unsubscribe at any time.
We will not sell your email address to any third parties for any reason.
EarthResPro networks closely with other individuals and companies in different sectors of the natural resource industries. We believe that building a solid network is crucial in the goal of accessing accurate information.
These companies have core business models that are different to EarthResPro. The information sharing that we do is mostly in connection with current affairs and industry developments.
We reserve the right to pass on your name and email address only to these associated companies and they might send you a single email with an opportunity to opt-in to their updates.
Other than that your email address will not be passed to anyone for any reason unless legally forced to do so.
Other Personal Information
Much of our site relates to providing information about new job placings and assignments in new countries.
We understand that during potential job changes, discretion is extremely important. Whether you represent an agency who is advertising with us, or an individual who is looking for work in a new country, private information must stay private. Breaches can create uncomfortable situations in current job positions. We aim to always exercise the utmost discretion while dealing with those who have chosen to work with us.
If you decide that you want to send us your Resume/CV then obviously we will have a significant amount of information about you. We take the security of your Resume/CV very seriously. This data will be stored on a separate server to our website or email system. We keep abreast of the latest in data storage and high level security strategies.
The reason why we take the security of your information so seriously is two fold. Firstly it is a core value in relation to our business model. Secondly, it would not make sense for our databases to fall into the hands of our competition.
At any time, for any reason you can request to see the information that we have on file about you. We will delete this if asked to do so.
